Zine Workshop
With bilingual focuses on suicide prevention, gender affirmation, and the less-represented LGBTQIA+ (alternatives to gay, cismen), Pomona Pride Center’s Zine Workshop aims to publish and promote a quarterly zine. We also aim to distribute some gender affirming materials (like binders and period underwear) to the community on a quarterly basis. Magazines and other mainstream periodicals have not always been written for the LGBTQIA+ or other minority groups and their special needs. Zines (short for magazines) are a historically significant response as a way for our communities to come together and share stories, potentially life-saving information, and our work published as our authentic selves. Every 2nd Saturday | 3pm-5pm - Pomona Pride Center
